Do I need to pay to get my scans from the lab?

No. Receiving transfers and storing them in GrainGrid is and always will be free. The paid plan is only for advanced cataloguing features.

Are my scans safe?

Yes. We use enterprise grade storage with cold backups to ensure your scans are safe.

How does the "receive your scans directly from your lab" feature work?

Labs can send your scans directly to your Grain Grid account. You will receive a notification when your scans are ready. So you won’t have to download and re-upload your scans.

I have an idea or feedback, can I reach out?

Absolutely! We build for the community, so we want to hear from you.

Can I use Grain Grid to share deliverables with my clients?

Yes. You can create public albums and use them to deliver work to clients. They can set to automatically expire and even require a password.

If getting my transfers is free, how do you make money? Where's the catch?

There's no catch. Labs use GrainGrid to send you scans more effectively and they pay a fee to use the service.
